The AIS eLibrary serves as a centralized digital repository for storing, managing, and providing access to research papers and journal articles within the information systems academic community. It is designed for use by AIS members and subscribed users, ensuring organized archival and efficient retrieval of scholarly content.

The database integrates author identification through BePress, enabling consistent author records and seamless access management. Users with matching AIS Membership IDs and BePress Author IDs (registered via the same email address) are granted full viewing access to the repository’s content.
